The 5th Grade Compassion Tree

Hi Paul,
I am so excited! I just got off the phone with the director of a local nonprofit, The Center for Peace through Culture. I have been having quite a few conversations with them over the course of the past few months about my compassion curriculum that I have been developing. Their director and her colleagues have been helping me flush out some ideas that I have been developing in fifth grade this year. She has been a wonderful resource to me. Anyway, they are going to fund my compassion project, and they have also asked me to be on an advisory council for teachers for next year. I am really thrilled, eager to develop a relationship with them, and hopeful to meet some teachers at other schools as well.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know of this good news.
