Dear Berkshire Country Day School Community Members,
As of 7 pm today, Tuesday, October 30, electric power has not yet been restored to BCD. Electricity is essential for reopening school. Without it, we are unable to heat and light classrooms, provide running water, or operate telephones.
While we are hopeful that National Grid will restore power before tomorrow morning, we wanted you to know now that there is a possibility that school may not be in session on Wednesday, October 31.
Expect to hear an update from us early Wednesday morning. Should school be canceled tomorrow, all Halloween activities will take place on Thursday, November 1. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
