Many events at BCD rely on the support of parent volunteers. The following three events offer a variety of ways for you to participate – from clearing brush to baking goodies to planning an auction. And don’t worry, there are even more opportunities to help out. Just click here for the Parents’ Association Volunteer Sign-up form. There is something for everyone!

Community Campus Day – Saturday, October 15

Catch up with old acquaintances and make new friends at the Fourth Annual BCD Community Campus Day on Saturday, October 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. In keeping with the goals of our school Master Facilities Plan, we will continue to clear our woodlands of invasive plants and debris, rake leaves, and groom our gardens in preparation for winter.

Bring your work gloves, favorite rake, and a lunch. Morning coffee and baked goods will be here to greet the early-birds, and beverages and desserts will be plentiful at lunchtime. Free on-campus childcare for ages 3-9 is available. To let us know that you will be attending and to sign up for childcare, please contact Melissa Kruse at the main office at (413) 637-0755 or mkruse@berkshirecountryday.org. Come for an hour or stay all day! (Rain date: Sunday, October 16)

Grandparents’ and Grand Friends’ Day – Friday, October 21, 2011
