Today Second Graders put on their fantasy caps and enjoyed author Kate DiCamillo’s, Louise: The Adventures of a Chicken. In this three-chapter tale by the author of favorites such as Desperaux and The Magical Journey of Edward Tulane, Louise the Chicken’s thirst for adventure leads her to stow away on a pirate ship, join the circus and explore an exotic bazaara only to realize that home is really where we feel the happiest.
