Today, preschoolers visiting the library snuggled in some favorite stories to combat the gloomy rain. Our theme today was self-awareness, and how we can be good friends to our classmates. After an introductory friendship game, we began our storytime with Karen Beaumont’s rhyming book, I Like Myself and continued with Marcus Pfister’s critically acclaimed, The Rainbow Fish.
