Today in the library, Pre-K made a literary splash into the pond. We enjoyed three stories centering on the theme of ponds and pond life. In Jim Arnosky’s Beaver Pond Moose Pond we encountered varied flora and fauna of the northern ponds. We imagined what we might spy through a dragonfly’s eye in All Eyes on the Pond by Michael Rosen. Lastly, we used logic and creativity to follow animal tracks with Cammy and William in Around the Pond: Who’s Been Here? by Lindsay Barrett George.
