Today in the library, Kindergarten enjoyed the books of eclectic British author, Lauren Child. According to her publisher, Lauren Child studied decorative art and design, previously working as a designer for window displays and fine china patterns (!). She is also an acclaimed illustrator, film maker and business owner. We shared three lively and clever books that showcase Child’s realistic sense of humor, charming illustrations and understanding of a child’s point of view: Beware of the Storybook Wolves, I Want a Pet, and I Really Really Need Actual Ice Skates.
