Dear Families,

We spent our last week of winter felting nests, rolling eggs and adding cotton-tails to bunnies.  We saw a puppet show about a girl who sells her rabbit in return for magic beans and we wondered if our Lima bean sprouts could ever grow all the way into the sky.

We spent a day in pajamas. eating popcorn, drinking cocoa, playing games and listening to stories.  We saw a movie version of The Gruffalo, a story we have read often lately, and everyone is able to join in the narration and chorus of this now familiar text, “There’s no such thing as a Gruffalo!”

We also ate a most delicious lunch provided by the Fletchers.  Thank you so much!

On Friday we joined the lower school for a celebration of Pi and lots of math activities.  The B3s brought grass and Unifix cubes to show their work measuring, comparing, recording and noticing.

Wishing you all a very restful, rejuvenating break.  When we return in April, I hope the snow will be melted!

All the best,
