First Grade Science

The First Graders are deep in their study of liquids. One interesting lesson was looking at the weights of different liquids. Test yourself! Put the following liquids in order from lightest to heaviest: regular water, salt water, corn syrup, dish soap and vegetable oil. (Answer given below!) The students had a lot of fun finding the answer out for themselves. The pictures below were taken on the very first day of the unit – the “free explore” day with water.
