On Tuesday all Arts Block students took the Marshmallow Challenge. The supplies were twenty sticks of uncooked spaghetti, one yard of sting and one yard of tape, and a marshmallow. After dividing into groups of four or five, students were given the rules and eighteen minutes to complete the challenge of building the tallest free-standing structure. The marshmallow needed to be on top of the structure.

The students had to cooperate, communicate, and create simultaneously and with a time constraint. When the time was up, the structures were measured. The winning structure was 23″ tall.
