Dear Parents,
As you all know, it’s been a very hectic and fun week. Below are some random shots from Fun Day and other activities over the past 2 weeks.
I am amazed at the amount of learning that has gone on this year – for me as well as the students! The recently completed 2nd grade Memory Books attest to that. In responding to the question, “What was the hardest part of the year for you?” answers included the following: “staying in my chair,” “lining up,” “learning songs in six different languages,” and “learning multiplication.”
Be sure to look over the Memory Books at home, they selected some photos as well to go with their written responses. It gave us a good opportunity to look back over the arc of the whole year and for them to fully grasp the level of their accomplishments and achievements.
Thank you for being such supportive and caring parents and for sharing your wonderful children with me this year. I look forward to seeing you all at the picnic tomorrow.
