Over 30 students, parents, grandparents and friends gathered in Fitzpatrick Hall today to sew receiving blankets for the Haiti relief efforts. Under the organization of Tina Petricca and other upper school parents, the gym was transformed into a work station where everyone got involved in fabric cutting, sewing, ironing, folding, and bundling. Thank you to everyone who turned out to work, provided supplies, and brought snacks!

This was an amazing day, i wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else! Thanks to Tina (Ryder’s mom) for the incredible blanket making idea. A huge thanks to all the parents, students and friends for the great work that we all did today. Also, thank you to Dr. Pier Bouton who stopped in to share her most recent experience in Haiti, it really gave purpose to our work for the rest of the afternoon Have a great weekend, knowing we all did a wonderful thing!
