This week in the library, B3s enjoyed some spooky activities for Halloween. We shared two stories. In the fist, The 13 Nights of Halloween by Guy Vasilovich, a mummy provides a creepy present for you (singing skulls, dancing demons!) each night as he counts down the days until October 31. The second story, The Witchy Broom, by Ida Delage, tells the story of a witch who accidentally bewitches a farmer’s broom and causes confusion all along the farm. Students also enjoyed a Halloween hunt around the library to search for bats, mini pumpkins and bugs of all kinds. Thank you to the Fourth Grade for hiding the objects for us in the library stacks! We concluded with book browsing. Happy Reading and Happy Halloween!
