Today in the library we celebrated Dr. Suess’ birthday with a scavenger hunt. In an homage to our favorite wordsmith, students answered rhyming riddles to find puzzle pieces located around campus. When put together, the puzzle was a collage of Suessian images and characters. With time remaining, we shared one of Suess’ non-rhyming and lengthier stories, The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins. What a great way to use all of our rainy-day energy– in a race for Suess clues!
