Robin Seeley will be hosting Let’s Talk About on Thursday, December 4th after drop off in the BCD Library. The topic is “School Lunch – Innovative & Fresh Ideas.”

The Never Ending Question

Once again, the end of the weekend is all too fast approaching, it’s Sunday, you’re at the grocery store and asking yourself the same questions. What will I make for my child’s (or worse – children’s) lunch this week?

Already out of ideas for what to pack for lunch with still over half the school year left?
Are your kids unable to look at another sandwich?
Are you bored with making the SAME thing everyday?
If you answered “yes” to one or more of the above questions THEN it’s time for a lunch recipe swap!

Bring both your tired lunch ideas (they maybe new for someone else) along with any innovative ideas that you wish to share with fellow BCD parents at our next “Let’s Talk About” on December 4th, right after drop off in the Library. Let’s talk about how we as parents can navigate the challenges of packing school lunches (no heat ups, picky eaters, spill proof containers, and sometimes allergy concerns). Let’s talk about what foods our kids need in order to sustain themselves with enough brainpower and energy to get the most out of their school day.
