First thing’s first: Congratulations go to Twinkle and Raj on the birth of their son, Reyaat, born Feb. 8.  Twinkle sent photos to share with the class – oh, what a cutie he is!  (and the spitting image of big brother Krish!)  We are so happy for all of you!

The next two weeks hold LOTS of special activities.  Next Monday, Feb. 23, is the 100th Day of School.  The following Monday, March 2, is Alaska Day.  Tuesday, March 3, will be the PS/LS Assembly on Courage.  On Wednesday, March 3, Sasha Sicurella will be taking the class on their Art trip to the Norman Rockwell Museum.  Thursday, March 4, at 10:00, we’ll be going to the Mahaiwe in Great Barrington to see a performance of Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse by Kevin Henkes.  Then, after school on Thursday and on Friday morning, are March Parent-Teacher conferences.  There will be a link to signup available shortly.  March break begins that Friday at the conclusion of conferences, with classes currently scheduled to resume on Tuesday, March 24.

Despite the bitter cold outside, we’ve kept busy inside.  We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day celebration.  Thank you, Natacha, for organizing a great day for us, and thank you everyone, who sent things in for our celebration.
