Happy New Year from the Parents’ Association! We are looking forward to some great events in 2018, including our upcoming speaker series, Raising Innovative Children, featuring Stephen Brand on February 13 at 6:30 pm. Dr. Brand is the Executive Director of Global Learning and Development at Bay Path University and a recent presenter of a TED Talk focusing on his takeaways from interviews conducted with hundreds of innovators from all walks of life, including world-renowned architects, artists, inventors, musicians, entrepreneurs, and engineers. This will be an energetic, interactive presentation in which we will explore how parents and educators can create experiences that inspire children to become innovators.
Come join us for our next PA meeting to be held this Friday, January 12 at 8:15 in the in the Hosokawa Distance Learning Lab of the Kevin Hirt Library and Learning Commons. We will be discussing the results from our recent parent survey and planning for future events. All BCD parents are welcome, and we hope to see you all there!
