Parents’ Association

Dear Parents,

Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 2nd, the PA will be meeting at 4 pm in the Kittredge Room. This year the PA deliberately moved every other month’s meeting to a Wednesday afternoon to help accommodate parents’ different work schedules. The primary topic on the agenda is the PA’s assistance with the quickly approaching Grandparents’/Grandfriends’ Day (Friday, October 11th).  Be sure to check the sign up here to see how you can help!   FREE PM is available for parents attending the PA meeting.

We will also be discussing the PA budget for the year, and ideas for how to spend it as we consider creative PA engagement now through June.

Hello Parents!

Welcome again to the Parents’ Association; we hope the year has started off well for both you and your children now that we are in the first full week of school.

Please come to our first PA meeting of the school year in the Kittredge Room (Albright Hall) 8:15-9: 00 am this Friday, September 13. We will cover an overview of the year ahead and associated PA activities. Also, Jenifer Fox will give a brief Head of School update and we’ll hear from Development where the PA can provide collaborative help.

We look forward to seeing you there. Energy and engagement from parents will create a fun and productive year for all!

The Parents’ Association is thrilled to welcome you (back) this year!  We hope that you all had an amazing summer, and we are looking forward to another wonderful school year at BCD!  We want to point out a few very important special events coming right up so you can get them on your calendar:

Tuesday, September 3: First Day of School! (Note the new start time of 8:15 am.) Join other parents in the Kittredge Room in Albright for an opening day reception for parents from 8-9am. Refreshments and connections!

Friday, September 6: Installation Ceremony for Jenifer Fox, BCD’s 15th Head of School, followed by a cocktail reception to kick off the year (adults only, please), 6-8 pm. This is an exciting fresh beginning for BCD and an opportunity for us to launch our new journey together as a strong and unified community! Your attendance will help start things off with the positive energy that growing friendships, hopes, and dreams bring.

Friday, September 13: First Parents’ Association Meeting, 8:15 am. Everyone is welcome! Come make some friends and see how we can all work together to make this year great for everyone!
