In 2025, Mary Warner informed the Board of Trustees that her five year tenure as Head of School at Berkshire Country Day School will conclude on June 30, 2027. The Head of School is collaborating closely with the President of the Board of Trustees, the Executive Committee, and the entire Board of Trustees for a planned transition focussed on stability and continuity.
As a first step in the important work, the Board of Trustees retained Carney Sandoe & Associates to spend time on campus and meet with the students, faculty, staff, parents, and trustees in order to understand the needs of our community and the School. This work culminated in a comprehensive Community Survey which was shared with the Community in August. This feedback informs the position description and outlines the characteristics sought in the next Head of School.
Following the community survey, the Search Committee selected Lisa Parsons of Carney Sandoe & Associates to lead the national search. The Search Committee is listed below.
