Parenting Teens: How to keep the lines of communication open … but also set boundaries
Are you frightened at the prospect of soon having a teenager?  Or maybe you already have a teenager but don’t feel equipped.  Welcome to the club!  So let’s talk about it!  Issues that parents need to be aware of these days include social media, drinking and drugs, sex and safety, new drivers … Scared yet?!
We will use the book, Parents, Teens, and Boundaries: How to Draw the Line by Jane Bluestein as a reference, so feel free to check it out before the discussion.  One way we can help keep our teens safe together is by having parents aware and engaged as a community.  Please come so we can talk about ways to help look out for everyone’s teens and strategize ways to set reasonable boundaries.
