Recently, I viewed (again) the following video from Pat Bassett, who is an inspiring and extraordinary educator, and the retiring President of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). BCD is a longstanding member of NAIS, and many of us have had the opportunity to listen to Mr. Bassett speak over the years. In the video, Mr. Bassett, who happens to have taught a former BCD parent early during his career in education, speaks to prospective families about the value of independent and NAIS schools. I believe his thoughts are a great reminder about the value of a BCD education.
