Tuesday evening, BCD parent, filmmaker, and CEO of the global campaign, Girl Rising, Christina Lowery, led a film viewing and discussion. The inspiring, hopeful, and powerful film highlights the incredible work she is doing for girls and society around the world. Christina’s message is that educating girls is the best investment we can make toward ending poverty, violence, inequality. Her film is used to spread this message and encourage others to educate and empower girls.
Upcoming Parents’ Association (PA) Meeting is this Friday, May 4 at 8:15 am. We will be planning for Fun and Field Day and discuss upcoming events. The meeting will be in the Kevin Hirt Learning Commons. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
