Today in the library, Preschool practiced their slithering with some very snakey stories. We began with My Snake Blake by Randy Siegel. This charming story about a boy and his unusual pet is highlighted by whimsical drawings by artist Serge Block. Our second story Snakes!by David T. Greenberg uses verse to describe a house overrun by snakes in a slow and creepy manner. The students also decorated their own wooden snakes to take home. We concluded with bookbrowsing and checkout.
