Dear Parents,
We are having a fabulous time at Nature’s Classroom so far! Yesterday, after arriving, the Fifth Graders explored the beaches of the salt marsh, as well as participated in a variety of group and team building challenges. We ended the night with a group sing-along. Today, we took a mini-field trip to Beaver Tail State Park on the ocean and hunted for crabs and other marine treasures along the craggy shore. We enjoyed our picnic lunch, sketched and wrote in our journals, and some down time before heading back to Nature’s Classroom. As we speak (or as I write?) students are in their elective classes–a choice between a Sand Castle challenge and The Endangered Egg Experience.
Photos are forthcoming…left my phone in my cabin. Hope you are enjoying your day. Our day was fabulous!
