Today first graders visiting the library were enchanted by fairy tales, one of the oldest forms of children’s literature. Students selected versions adapted from Hans Christian Andersen and the Brothers Grimm, as well as from English folklore, to be read. Favorites included Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel and The Emperor’s New Clothes. We concluded with book browsing and checkout. Books are due 11/20. Happy Reading!
