Students in Fifth Grade Math have been playing store this week! After my quick trip to the bank in Lenox, we began by exploring the various coins and ways to make a dollar. Students next moved to making change using the counting up strategy. Today, each student brought in five items from home and we set up the Lederman Mall Mall. Here, students took turns buying and selling the objects and making change from a $20 bill.
