Peter comes to BCD from Bart Charter School in Adams, MA where he was a Seventh Grade Team Leader, Science Teacher, and Advisor. Prior to his time at Bart, he was the Lead Science teacher at Harlem Academy in New York City for grades two, four, and five. Peter was an advisor to his fifth-grade boys; he led team-building activities, planned trips, and helped set goals for the year. While at Harlem Academy, Peter was also the Director of Lower School Athletics. He has years of outdoor experience as a camp counselor at Camp Timanous, as well as leading research trips to Black Rock Forest in Cornwall, NY, and Professional Development with the Flying Cloud Institute. Peter is passionate about working out, spending time on the Stockbridge Bowl, and listening to music. When asked, what stands out to him most at BCD, he says “BCD is such an amazing opportunity for students and educators to collaborate and make a unique and interactive learning environment.”
