Michaela is currently working on her DMA in Music Education
This is Michaela’s 13th year teaching music. Prior to working at BCD, she taught in Switzerland for 7 years specializing in voice, piano and saxophone. She has also taught elementary, middle, and high school bands, high school jazz band, and high school choir as well as music electives including songwriting and music theory. Michaela holds a Bachelors in Music Composition from Ithaca College, a Masters in Music Education from Boston University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Music Education
