Lisa has taught a multi-age classroom, grades 2-4 at Mountain Road School, New Lebanon, NY. Her focus is on developing reading and writing skills, often through the lens of nature and art. She loves the enthusiasm, delight, and confidence of young children. She especially enjoys encouraging them in their explorations of math, nature, and writing, and helping them create a joyful and supportive community. She believes in creating a cooperative, cheerful, and engaging classroom environment so that children can feel safe to discover their academic strengths, take risks, and form empathic relationships.
