Ben is a studio potter and teaches Ceramics and Art to students in Kindergarten through Grade 8. As an educator, he facilitates an experience-based studio, encouraging  students’ curiosity about ceramics, and, alongside them, he is always striving to “dig deeper.” Beyond the studio, Ben is a two-season coach for the School, coaching cross-country skiing and lacrosse. He also teaches at IS183 Art School in Stockbridge, MA. His other teaching experience includes working as an afterschool art teacher at Morningside Elementary School and Taconic High School in Pittsfield, as an art club teacher at Richmond Consolidated School,  and teaching at the Penland School of Crafts in NC. Ben lives and has his pottery studio in Richmond, MA, where he makes functional and sculptural pottery.
