In celebration of getting halfway through exams week and to welcome next year’s upper school students, BCD’s Grade 6 through 9 students went on a hike this afternoon to Laura’s Tower and enjoyed an ice cream treat afterward.

Dear BCD Community,
To me, being part of a community means supporting, and encouraging others, as well as creating a healthy environment. Yesterday’s event was a true community effort. Thirty-eight community members walked together to support Diabetic Research. Students, teachers, and parents, walked the beautiful trail from BCD to Olivia’s Overlook. The camaraderie, friendship, and support, showed the genuine spirit of the BCD community.
BCD is a magical place, and together we make great things happen. 
Last Friday afternoon, BCD faculty and students dashed out onto the lawn to do one big Happy Dance!
Trips week is going well for the eighth graders so far.
