Making crystals

Students used a variety of different materials (salt, sugar, borax, etc) to create liquids that, when dried, produced some beautiful crystals. Bounciness

Messy But Fun!

Last week the first graders did some experiments to see if four substances dissolved better in hot or cold water.  The instant coffee, cocoa, salt and powdered sugar plus water made for a MESS.  But boy did we have fun.
