Inside and outdoors, Brook Farm Preschool at BCD offers a unique preschool program based in a beautiful setting on the campus of Berkshire Country Day School.

Once the farm that supported a Gilded Cottage, our campus has multiple academic buildings that are used for Brook Farm classrooms as well as for our Pre Kindergarten through Eighth Grade independent school, Berkshire Country Day School also known as BCD. In addition, our secure and gated campus contains 26 acres of trails, fields, streams and a pond for exploration. Every day, our Brook Farm Preschool students may play in multiple outdoor playground areas or have guided explorations of our beautiful campus. During the school year, they also may practice motor skills in the gym or have story time in our newly expanded campus Library and Learning Commons.

Brook Farm Preschool classrooms are located in the main building, Albright Hall, once the farm manager’s house. Brook Farm Preschool at BCD has three classrooms in addition to a larger gathering space, all within Albright Hall. Each classroom contains creative areas, manipulative stations, a sensory play area, building area, writing and numbers center, and a meeting area.
