You Are Invited to: “LET’S TALK ABOUT”
Please join us for conversation, coffee & donuts. This informal gathering is open to all parents of the BCD community. “Let’s Talk About” Series was created to foster community, encourage thoughtful discussion and celebrate our diverse views on topics important to all of us.
On Tuesday, November 4th immediately following drop off, all parents are invited to come to the BCD library for our first “Let’s Talk About” conversation.
The topic chosen for our first gathering is about making caring common. The article was sent out to the BCD community through the Head of School’s blog. The article is entitled, “The Children We Mean to Raise.”
Please click on this link to access the article. We invite you to read the two page executive summary or the whole article if you can and bring your thoughts and personal experiences to the conversation.
We will have a sign-up sheet available the morning of the series for those parents who have a topic they would like to discuss or a topic they would like to host. We hope to schedule a “Let’s Talk About,” on an ongoing basis.
The Let’s Talk About Series is a subcommittee of the BCD Parent’s Association.
