A self-described “history nerd,” Sarah’s passion is finding the story in history that you don’t always hear about. Couple that with an energetic bunch of 7th and 8th graders, and you get fantastic dialog, a dash of humor, and incredibly engaged learners in her classes. In addition to her teaching and advising duties, Sarah coaches Varsity Girls Soccer and is the Upper School Student Council Advisor. She formerly taught in BCD’s Middle School for many years.  Prior to BCD, Sarah’s previous professional experience includes teaching fourth grade at Trevor Day School and in the Katonah-Lewisboro School District, third grade at The Dalton School, and Pre-K at Phoenix Head Start. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and gardening, and says if she could, she would read books all day long. Sarah lives in Richmond with her husband and two children.
