Following a successful career in international sales, Mary, who holds dual French-American citizenship, made a change to pursue teaching French in the hopes of sharing her love and enthusiasm for French language and culture with students. She previously taught in the Pittsfield public schools and continues to grow and evolve as a foreign language teacher by staying active in regional and national foreign language teacher associations, as well as participating in professional workshops geared to enhance the language learning experience. She brings an exceptional level of professionalism, dedication, and ability to create an inspiring environment for students. In her classes, students grow in their capability to speak and understand French, as their interest to learn and experience cultures different from their own is piqued. She says, “I believe that passion is something that can’t be taught, and when it comes to learning, it can make a big difference in a student’s interest in the learning process.” We welcome her and her two young children to Berkshire Country Day School.
