Jilly brings her passion for world cultures, archaeology, and literature to Upper School and Middle School where she teaches English and Ancient History. An avid storyteller and summer blogger, she loves helping students expand their minds and ideas through writing and reading. After a decade in academia teaching at the University of Virginia, Rochester Institute of Technology and Nazareth College, she found her home in the Berkshires. She’s the recipient of two Grinspoon Awards for Teaching Excellence and has spent the past three summers working on archaeological digs in Montenegro and Bulgaria. In her free time, she travels, crafts, and is a massive fan of the Atlanta Falcons.  Both of her sons are BCD alumni.
