Gill has been teaching third grade for more than 20 years at Berkshire Country Day School. She enjoys identifying students’ learning styles and developing strategies to help individuals reach their full academic potential. Each year, she expands her expertise by attending professional development workshops, so she can stay current with the latest practices in education. The top three reasons why she loves teaching: 1) She loves to learn and believes being a teacher requires a person to continuously expand their pool of knowledge; 2) She enjoys the detective aspect of teaching and finds it fun and challenging to uncover a student’s recipe for success; 3) She takes pride in seeing her students meet their personal/academic goals and shares in their success. Her leisure activities include golfing, painting, and knitting. Gill lives with her husband in Lenox Dale.
