The beautiful weather continues here on Judith Point! The BCD fifth grade has had a busy day filled activities and sunshine.

While the girls were up by 6 am, the  boys took it easy and slept until after 7. Breakfast was served by our waitrons Hanna and Kate and included bagels, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, fresh berries, yogurt and cereal. The students enjoyed their team building morning challenges with Rosa, and then headed off to the docks for sketching and some quiet reflective time. Following the crowd-pleasing lunch of chicken tenders and fries, the students launched home-made bottle rockets from an air compressor with success, and then had a choice of electives, including dissecting a shark.

Our resident poet laureate, Conrad crafted this inspirational poem based on his day at NC:

N is for never-ending fun

A is for a bunch of seagulls

T is for too much food

U is for unstoppable craziness

R is for really good stories

E is for everything!!!!!

Cheers!
