It is hard to imagine that a week of classes has come to completion. Our students hit the ground running with an orientation the first day of school which included every aspect of getting to know the campus (Dr. L’s scavenger hunt), to how to organize a binder, to planning the 9th grade retreat’s meals and chefs, to a fascinating presentation on bees for our preschool and lower school students.
Take some time this week to check in with your child about his or her classes and hopes, dreams, and goals for the year ahead. Always feel free to contact a teacher with any questions that may arise from those conversations. The students’ homeroom teachers (PS-LS) and advisors (MS-US) will be contacting you in the coming week to check in as well. I look forward to a terrific year with your children.
