Admission Welcome Letter

Alicia Rossie
Director of Admission

Thank you for your interest in Berkshire Country Day School. The only PreK-9 school in Berkshire County that is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, BCD has been providing students from Berkshire and Columbia Counties with an academically vigorous and well-rounded independent school education since 1946.

Today, BCD holds true to its mission to encourage academic excellence at the highest level, to advance each student’s individual promise, and to foster responsive and responsible citizenship. All great journeys start with a first step, and we encourage you to find out for yourself what BCD is all about. Please explore our web site and contact us via the inquiry form.

I look forward to the opportunity to personally show you our campus, to speak with you about your hopes and dreams for your child(ren), and to answer your questions about our superior programs, talented faculty, and vision for the future of the School.

Sincerely,

Alicia Rossie
Director of Admission

About Alicia
B.A. Philosophy, Centre College
Alicia is thrilled to be at BCD as the Director of Admission and Financial Aid.  Since graduating from Centre, she has worked for theatres, talent agencies, and schools all over the world.  Her personal and professional travels have taken her to Venezuela, Alaska, Japan, Western Europe, and Hawaii.  Along the way, she learned sukoshi Japanese (that means “a little”) and le français.  After returning to the US in 2007, Alicia spent four years working at Bard College at Simon’s Rock in the Office of Admission before joining BCD in 2011.  She looks forward to getting to know all of the BCD families – past, present, and future ones!
